The hardest part of a starting out in fitness is learning how to move well. This class teaches the fundamentals of movement from the air squat to the push-up. There are many variations of movements and exercises, but this class focuses on the basics. More time is taken to teach rather than to push the pace. Learning how to deadlift properly is far more important than lifting heavy. You should know the movement well before you pull heavier weight.
Some examples of introductory movements:
Power lifting (deadlifts, bench press)
Olympic Lifts (snatch, clean and jerk)
Body weight movements (squats, one leg bridge, push-ups)
Gymnastic movements tailored to your fitness level (pull-ups, v-sit-ups, dips)
