Daily Motivation, Fitness, Nutrition and Mobility August 16
Some days you train and just don't have it. There are a lot of reasons that might be the cause of this (lack of recovery, sleep, nutrition, etc.) but it's how you bounce back that matters. If you give up when things aren't going the way you want them to, you'll probably give up on everything because nothing you really want will always go the way you want it to. The question to ask yourself is, "Did I give it everything I had?" If the answer is yes, you should be proud of that effort. If you are consistently seeing negative results, book with someone who can help you analyze your situation and help you get back on track. Every successful person has failed at what they were doing at some point, but learned and kept going.
Fitness Challenge: Get to a class. The group will motivate you to push hard and being outside in nature is always soothing. You don't have to go at it alone every day - it's tough to get good consistent goals that way.
Nutrition Challenge: If you know someone who has similar goals to you (weight loss, improved eating, etc.) challenge them to something today. An idea might be to challenge them to not eat processed sugar with you today. Or to eat every meal from a tea plate.
Mobility Movement: Do some neck stretches. We hold a lot of tension and stress in our necks and cervical spine. Doing some light stretches with your hand as resistance is great for your neck. Push down slightly, pull back slightly and push laterally slightly several times per side.
