Daily Motivation, Fitness, Nutrition and Mobility August 20
To those that came out today or will be going out to train today, make this your motto. You may not be all the way to your goals, but you get closer every day. One vital question you have to ask yourself if you are exercising every day is: Are you also sleeping enough? Eating for performance? Stretching and mobilizing? It takes more than a hard workout to reach fitness goals - it takes a total package of mindfulness.

Nutrition Challenge: Here is a mistake I recently made so you can learn from it with me: If you are training hard, you need complex carbs to rebuild and regain energy. Fitness apps will tell you how many carbs you ate, but not how good the source is. If you eat the wrong kinds of carbs at the wrong time, you might find yourself exhausted and wondering why you don't want to move. In my case I ate too many vegetables and fruit and not enough complex carbs. Eat complex carbs like rice and oatmeal to regain energy before and after hard workouts. On easy rest days (if your life isn't overly active) drop your carbs a bit and increase your fat.
Mobility movement: Complete our series of wrist stretches. Forward, backward, lateral and reverse for 10 of each position.
