Daily Motivation, Fitness, Nutrition and Mobility August 24
When you push yourself to the max, it creates a beast inside you. You'll become someone that is more than their words, more than their desire to be something. You'll become someone who gets out there and does it. #deedsnotwords is how you get to where you want to be with your mobility, strength, flexibility and endurance. Any one of these alone and you might be in some trouble, but combine them at SOF and you'll become the best version of yourself. Your body doesn't care how badly you want something, it responds to stimuli. Everyone this morning pushed it hard to give the mission their best shot, even though they had to report the dead animals over the radio.
Fitness Challenge: Step outside into the sun and complete a walking lunge for 40 lunges per leg. If you can, hold a weight overhead and keep good posture and overhead position.
Nutrition Challenge: What's the difference between slow and steady and extremes? In the end nutrition is what you decide it is. Your mind will always shape your responses to anything going on in your life. If you don't like the taste of something that doesn't mean you shouldn't eat it - only your mind convinces you of the difference between ice cream and avocado. Can you make the right choice? In the end, it's just a decision, a point of view, a thought in your mind. Make the right choices.
Mobility Movement: Complete 10 rounds of the cat and cow. It's a spinal movement that helps with the mobility of your spine in flexion and hyperextension.
Enjoy reading these daily challenges? I'll be posting them for one more week online, then they will be available to members only via the mailing list. Join the group and see the difference we can make in your life. #deedsnotwords
